About Us

Sam Hodgson is a Nashville native whose fascination with the building process began in his late teens.  Sam graduated  from Montgomery Bell Academy before earning his B.A. in Marketing Communications from the University of Mississippi.  Sam met  his wife Mandy, who is also a partner in Hodgson House, at Ole Miss.  During his college years, Sam spent his summers during working as a general laborer in the construction field.  Later he found himself working as a framer and finish carpenter.  Eventually, he began working for a custom home builder in Nashville as a remodel and custom home supervisor.  After completing multiple renovations and several custom built homes in some of Nashville's most prominent neighborhoods, Sam realized construction is his passion and set out to create Hodgson House.
